EEX 6117: Language and Literacy Interventions in Early Childhood

Prerequisite: Admission to graduate program.      

Focuses on caregiver and classroom-based strategies for promoting language and literacy development of young children birth to 8 years of
age who are at risk for or have disabilities. In addition, the current approaches to assistive technology, augmentative communication and their application in the classroom will be discussed.
