Graduate programs are available leading to Master of Science in Statistics, Master of Statistics, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Minimum requirements for these degrees are described in the General Information section of this catalog.

Both master’s programs usually require 2 years of course work including material covered in STA 6207, STA 6208, STA 6326 , STA 6327 , STA 6246 , and STA 6329 . In addition to earning a “Ph.D. pass” on the first-year evaluation, requirements for the Ph.D. degree include STA 6466, STA 6467, STA 7249 , and STA 7346 .

Interdisciplinary programs: The Department offers a co-major program in conjunction with the Fisher School of Accounting leading to the Doctor of Philosophy degree in statistics and business administration accounting. The Department is also a partner in the interdisciplinary concentration in quantitative finance, along with the Departments of Mathematics; Industrial and Systems Engineering; and Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate.
