The School of Special Education, School Psychology, and Early Childhood Studies offers online and face-to-face programs leading to the Master of Education (M.Ed., non-thesis), Master of Arts in Education (M.A.E., thesis), Specialist in Education (Ed.S.), Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. The School offers graduate study and research experience in 3 areas of specialization: Special Education; School Psychology; and Early Childhood Studies. Programs are accredited by the Florida Department of Education and approved by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) through the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). The Ph.D. program in School Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
