The Comparative Law Department offers the LL.M. in Comparative Law. Requirements for this degree are given in the Graduate Degrees section of this catalog.
The LL.M. in Comparative Law Program is for students who have completed law degrees at schools outside of the U.S. and want to enhance their understanding of the United States’ legal system and the English common law system from which it evolved. UF Law has maintained a strong international presence including establishing programs and relationships in five continents. Since 1994, the LL.M. in Comparative Law Program at UF Law has enrolled more than 200 students from 43 countries ranging from China to Zimbabwe.
