The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering offers the degrees of Master of Science (thesis or non-thesis), Master of Engineering (thesis or non-thesis), and Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Minimum requirements for these degrees are given in the Graduate Degrees section of this catalog.
Prospective students are expected to have strong backgrounds in engineering. For the first year of study, each student is generally required to take a minimum of three regular courses each semester.
The Department offers a combination bachelor’s/master’s degree program. Contact the undergraduate coordinator for information.
