Research and teaching in HHP have an impact on almost every aspect of the human condition. The college’s three centers – the Center for Exercise Science, the Center for Behavioral Economic Health Research, and the Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute – as well as its four primary departments – Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, Health Education and Behavior, Sport Management, and Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management – place the college firmly in a position to influence and improve an array of societal problems and challenges.
