The first three lectures will focus on the etiology, pathophysiology, manifestation and diagnostic strategies of degenerative, immune mediated, and septic arthopathies. The majority of the course will be devoted to in-depth evaluation of specific surgical techniques used to address joint instabilities using biologic or prosthetic reconstruction techniques.

Prerequisite: This course is offered to UF graduate students with interest in research and management of small animal arthrology, disease, reconstruction, and arthroplasty in dogs and cats.
